Time Dilation and Length Contraction for Cosmic Muons

  Example I (basic concept)
    At 0.95c, 𝛾 = 1/√(1-(v^2/c^2)) = 3.20
    Time Dilation: 2.2µs x 3.20 = 7.04µs
    Length Contraction: 10,000ft / 3.2 = 3,125ft

Example II (more realistic, but harder to visualize)
    At 0.9997c, 𝛾 = 1/√(1-(v^2/c^2)) = 40.63
    Time Dilation: 2.2µs x 40.83 = 89.8µs
    Length Contraction: 90,000ft / 40.83 = 2,233ft
