Accessibility
  https://www.apple.com/accessibility/
Taking a family portrait. Catching up over FaceTime. Raising
the blinds to let in the morning light. We want everyone to
enjoy the everyday moments that technology helps make
possible, so we work to make every Apple product accessible
from the very start. Because the true value of a device
isn't measured by how powerful it is, but by how much it
  empowers you.

How Apple Saved My Life
  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6c_QjJjEks (4+ min)

This film is not sponsored or a paid product placement. This
is merely my thanks to Apple.
Growing up blind, the resources I had to help cope with my
visual impairment were quite limited. It wasn't until I
learned of Apple's efforts to make their products as
accessibility friendly as possible, that I truly was able to
perform stronger in school, online, on the streets, and with
my art. This is the story of how Apple saved my life at a
time when my mental illness was the worse it had ever been.

VoiceOver describes exactly what's happening on your iPhone,

your device just by listening. Apple's built-in apps support
VoiceOver, which will talk you through tasks you do with
  them.

Before you begin using TapTapSee, you must first turn
VoiceOver ON in your device. To turn VoiceOver ON, go to
Settings > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver. Then switch
  to ON.
When you first open TapTapSee, a Privacy Notice pops up that
needs to be accepted before use. Once it's accepted, you're
taken to TapTapSee's home screen, which consists of a camera
and four buttons at the top of the screen - Repeat, Gallery,
  Share, and About.
To take a picture, double-tap on the right side of the
screen. To take a video, double-tap the left side of the
screen. Videos can be up to 10 seconds in length. Simply
double-tap again to end a video that’s under 10 seconds.
TapTapSee provides audible feedback to assist you while
  taking pictures and videos.
Your picture or video is sent to the CloudSight API where it
is identified and sent back to TapTapSee. Identification
takes approximately 7 to 10 seconds, and may fluctuate
  depending on your network connection.
